Luminous Five
A place to come home to yourself

Ancestral Wisdom • Sound • Dreams • Nature

A life woven through land, lineage, and experience, shaped by journeys, teachings, and the moments that transform us.

My Story

Some paths are chosen. Others unfold quietly beneath our feet, long before we know we are walking them.

I was born in Costa Rica and raised in a small mountain town, where life moved with the rhythm of the seasons. My childhood was spent close to the land, planting in the milpa, harvesting beans, listening to the stories shared by my aunts and elders, and learning that the natural world was never something separate from us, but something we belonged to.

My grandmother, whom we all called Mamá, was a traditional sobadora. She carried the knowledge passed down through generations, working with her hands to care for people who came to her door seeking support. Although I did not understand the depth of what I was witnessing as a child, those moments quietly shaped the way I would come to understand the body, wellbeing, and the relationship between people and the living world.

My grandmother, Mamá.

As the years unfolded, my path led me far from home. I lived in different countries, explored different ways of understanding the body, sound, consciousness, and the human experience, and spent years discovering what felt true.

Some teachings came through study and practice. Others came through life itself, through the people I met, the places I lived, and the experiences that shaped the way I see the world.

For more than two decades, I have walked a path of learning that brings together ancestral ways, sound, traditional bodywork, dreams, and a lifelong curiosity about the ways we relate to ourselves, each other, and the living world.

I have had the privilege of learning from Indigenous elders and traditional practitioners, always with respect for the cultures, communities, and lineages that have carried these teachings through generations. The Maya traditions of cacao, dreams, sound, and relationship with the natural world have deeply influenced the way I understand this work.

My path has also been shaped by years of formal study in the human body, holistic approaches to wellbeing, and human development. I trained in Balance Integral and holistic bodywork through Centro de Balance Integral Gaia in Costa Rica, where I deepened my understanding of the relationship between the body, emotions, energy, and the different layers of human experience.

I have also studied counseling, sound, and other approaches to understanding the human experience, including training through Berklee, alongside years of experiential learning and practice.

Throughout the years, I have continued learning with different teachers and schools in various parts of the world. Each experience has offered another perspective and has shaped the way I understand this work today.

Together, these studies, teachings, and life experiences continue to inform the way I create spaces for others.

Today, through Luminous Five, I continue sharing the different threads that have shaped my path, creating spaces for people to reconnect with themselves, find clarity, and explore what life may be asking of them.

Each experience is a meeting point between the knowledge I have gathered, the traditions that have influenced me, and the person who arrives in front of me.

I do not believe wisdom belongs to one person or one tradition. It lives through relationship with the body, with the earth, with our ancestors, and with the stories that shape who we become.

My hope is simply to offer a place where those conversations can begin.

If you feel drawn to explore this path, I welcome you to discover the different ways we can work together.

This site is woven from lived experience, ancestral ways, and a relationship with the Earth.
